We read a story called 'Miki' by Stephen Mackey about a little Inuit girl and we also found out some information about the Inuit people on the computer.
The children have had further opportunities to make snow, observe polar bears and walruses near the research station, build igloos and help the little Inuit girl to find her lost toys.
We are also enjoying having gymnastics with Jess and in maths have started to learn our number bonds to 10 using numicon to help us.
Many thanks for all the milk cartons - please keep bringing them in - we have about 125 and need about double this amout!

Another fun packed week for our children! Morgan has loved telling me about the Inuits and about the stories he has heard in class. He is thoroughly enjoying this term.
