Arctic Expeditions!

What an exciting start to the week!
We went on an expedition to the Arctic to find the Lost Polar Bear! First we dressed up warmly, then we had to read and follow clues left by different animals, including a husky dog, a seal, Paddington Bear, a hare an a snowman! We found the Polar Bear, he was in a tent, but the Arctic wind was so strong he was buried in some snow!
We then enjoyed pancakes with maple syrup and hot chocolate to warm us up.
We also enjoyed creating our own unique Snowmen from different media.
Finally we looked at pattern and sequencing and created some repeating pattern snowmen both inside and outside!

  1. What wonderful pictures! I love your snowman paintings - it certainly felt more like Canada in our classroom today than Brazil!
