This week the children have been looking at length in Maths.  They have measure items using cubes and paper clips.  They measured their shoes using cubes to see who had the longest shoe.

The children have also been working as a team to build the Arctic tract for the Inuits.

To help the children with their measuring and to help them understand the size of a male Polar Bear, we made one and measured it.

We then put our Polar Bear up.

The children were shocked to see how big a Polar Bear really is.
