The Snowman - weeks 1 & 2

In Class 1 we have been watching the film 'The Snowman' by Raymond Briggs and doing our work based around this. No matter how many times I watch this film, I still feel inspired by it and the children have absolutely loved it: 'Wow, look!' was the reaction as the Snowman started to fly with
James!

So far we have made some beautiful snowmen, orally told the story and made little mini books by sequencing pictures from the story. Today we have even made symmetrical snowflakes as part of our maths work. In the role play our travel agents is up and running! We even had snow last Friday for our Winter Wonderland Topic!
