Arctic Adventures!


 We're really excited by our Arctic theme in Class 1! Over the last two weeks we've made snow for the animals, been explorers in the research station and helped the Inuit girl to find her lost toys! We've also explored the ice outside! We have been inspired by a variety of wonderful arctic stories, including The Last Polar Bear and The Polar Bear Son.


In mathematics we've been beginning to learn our number bonds to 10 / 20, we have looked at doubling and had an introduction to weight.
