This week, as well as starting 'Monkey Puzzle', we have taken advantage of the bursts of sunshine and tidied up our veg boxes. Some of the children joined in a rather detailed discussion about why worms are good for the soil, and after lots of weeding, we planted some seeds. Fingers crossed for a bumper crop of lettuces, radishes and beans. We also got into the mud kitchen, with some delicious results, including a banana pie!
Today it was our turn to learn from the children. After yesterday's vote for a 'Go Jetters' afternoon, Miss Rayner and I received a crash course in all things Go Jetter, and the result was an hour of fantastic role play, with children jet-packing off with handmade 'click-ons' to discover different places around the world. They even caught a glimpse of the Grandmaster Glitch, which caused huge excitement!
And finally...
Our apologies for the technical problems at the end of term which meant we were unable to upload the photos from our Carnival afternoon. Please enjoy the highlights below!
