Last Week

As you will know Class one have been looking at different world celebrations.  we have looked a Diwali and made our own Rangoli patterns in the playground

last week looked at Thanksgiving.  They learnt the story and from that they wrote about things they were thankful for.
Some children's letters of thanks...
'I am thankful for my mummy because she gives me sweets'.
'I am thankful for my daddy at Christmas because he loves me'.
'I am thankful for chocolate'

In groups we also made cookies in autumn colours.

On power down day the children had many different activities to complete.  They decorated mosaics, made their own from beads, designed posters about Romans and wrote about Bodicia.

This week we are looking at Hunukkah and the story of Sammy the Spider and his first Hunukkah.
