Another New Week!!

Well what a wonderful week of learning we had last week in Class One.  Some children learnt to count backwards, count money and write a story while others worked hard to produce their own cave painting using clay.

I hope you have all had a lovely rest this weekend and will come in tomorrow morning with your brains switched and ready to learn.  This week we will be looking at...

  • Shape -  in class and outside, so if you look around your house what shapes can you see??
  • Instructions - where can you find instructions around your house? What do  you use them for?

Year ones - Do not forget your Maths Homework is online.

See you Monday.

  1. I'm not sure we know how to access the online Maths homework (maybe we have missed some paperwork!) - please could you give us a clue. Thanks in advance. Tom (Nina's dad)

  2. Dear Year 1 parents, the login for Abacus is in the inside front cover of the children's homework books.
I look forward to seeing how they all get on.

  3. Righty-0. We are going on a shape hunt! Do think we could incorporate learning to make tea for mummy whilst looking at the circle on top of a mug? Washing up in the square sink. This has mileage class one. Your parents are going to love it!
