This week we have started our new topic about the World Cup. The children have looked at rainforests and the different animals that live there.
Thank you to everyone in class that has finished their homework. I have learnt a lot about the different countries in the World Cup.
The football starts properly on the 12th June. After this date we will be writing about matches, things that happened during the match, the goals scored and if any red or yellow cards were shown. If you and an adult are able to watch part of a match then this will help for the weeks ahead.
Charlotte loved the cooking this week. Think the football homework is one for her daddy!!!

ReplyDeleteI had a lovely conversation with Miss Stafford today who told me all about the wonderful debate that you had on Friday about whether some Class 3 children should be able to join in your World Cup Competition. Miss Stafford explained that she was blown away by your For and Against Arguments, and I have to say that so was I - especially Archer's reasons "For". I wonder if any you realise just how clever you were - if you carry on with your fantastic learning you will never have to be in Class 3 and will have to go straight to Class 4!
